What documents do I need to take to immigration? Apparently you need a new contract, but my contract ends on the date I'm supposed to go home, whereas my visa says one month before.
Anyway, what do I need? Get listing!

Please don't refer me to the immigration site which is an unholy pain in the arse, much like my job.
Thanks Yews |

New signed contract and sponsor form (a lawyer has to draw up the forms) (same process for the school as when they originally applied for your visa), picture, 10,000-30,000 Won for the tax stamp.
Or you could just go to the immigration office and ask them in person what you need to do. |

You don't need a new contract.
If your work visa expires before your contract does, all your boss needs to do is take your ARC to the immigration office and get an extension date written on the back.
Possibly...he might need your original contract (though they already saw it 11 months ago) and your passport. Have all 3 things ready, but I'm pretty sure you just need to take your ARC. I've done this twice now.

I just did that yesterday and extended my ARC for two mths. I had to sign a new contract for the two mths, the director took it to immigration with the school information and ARC and I'll have it back in two weeks...pretty easy. |

Are you guys signing on for an extra 2 months?
If you are still working under the months in your original contract, you shouldn't need a new contract. That's just asking to get screwed by your boss...."Oh, you didn't complete this contract, only 11 months of it...this is a different contract for 2 months, not the same...etc"
Perhaps you all are dealing with different immigration offices. |
