I am working with a recruiter and been sent the GEPIK contract, totally blank. This made me uncomfortable but was assured by all the parties involved that this is completley normal and if I ask questions I will offend the Korean's and all that jazz.
Does anyone here have experience signing a blank GEPIK contract and hoping that you get the correct school and pay you signed up for? I have sent this blank document and now am working on the visa process but have no concrete contract still.
Is this common? |

The blank contract is fine, for you to look over and know what you're getting yourself into.
Once you're at the point where you are signing with a school, the contract should be filled in. I wouldn't sign a blank contract. |

Where are you? If in Korea, go to the school. If in your home country, photo shop a signature with "SAMPLE" or "NOT OFFICIAL" on it to show "intent".
When they fill in the contract with the salary amount, then you might need to be the first one to sign it. There isn't much you can do about a GEPIK contract anyway, but you do need something that you can show you are working for GEPIK. |
