Interestingly enough several years back there was another article on the percentage of people in European countries who liked and disliked America. France was over the 60 percentile range in terms of liking Americans, whereas other European countries like Britain were 50%, Germany was even lower.

I was really puzzled by this piece until I read, "Of 39 nations where Pew conducted surveys, here are the 10 where people have the most favorable impression of the U.S." Not that I expected North Korea to be on the list or anything, but I wonder how countries like Venezuela and Iran would rank. However, I think the real question is how favorably the United States views the United States.
