Ok, not the most eagerly-anticipated tournament but I though I'd bring this to the attention of footy fans who may have overlooked it.
It's a round-robin tournament between Korea, China, Japan and Australia in and around Seoul. Korea play Australia tomorrow, China on Wednesday and finish up with Japan a week on Sunday at Jamsil stadium. I just got my ticket for Korea vs Japan on Interpark, a bargain at 15,000W, and the match before in the corresponding women's tournament is included with each men's match! Bargain!
Anyway, it's a good chance to see a Korea vs Japan game, never under any circumstances a 'friendly.'
Half a dozen or so blocks still have seats remaining, but you'd better hurry, I'm sure after the first match is televised tomorrow the public will wake up and the Japan game will sell out:

| Watched the game online. Surprised at so many empty seats. |

Boy, Korea sure looked light-years better last game with their new manager compared to their previous outings. Fast to the ball, controlling the game, even being more physical and not rolling around on the ground after every challenge. The players looked both more relaxed and more focused. Korea looked bound for a poor showing and early exit in WC 2014, now they might have a chance at the 2nd round.
But they still have troubling finishing. Suarez-esqe in their ability to blow it. |

Choi Kang-Hee was a dreadful national team coach for sure, but he's an excellent K-League manager. In fairness to him, he knew this and tried to talk himself out of the job. |

Japan vs Korea tonight.
Tournament has been an attendance disaster so far. This is not a football mad country. |
