--The new phone will have a fingerprint scanner for added security and other uses.
--As usual, it will have a faster processor, longer battery life, and an improved camera. |
Awesome! How long do you think it will be before it is available for sale in Korea? |

All I have to say is that they better start making some bigger screens fast. They've lost many of my students, and my wife will switch to android next month over this very reason... assuming the screen size is still so small. |

I agree! I've been a huge Apple fan for years, but I'm starting to find the iPhone boring. It's still a great piece of technology, but it's no longer head and shoulders above the competition.
A bigger screen would be great. Not crazy big like the Galaxy Note, but something closer to the GS4.
I'm not expecting too much from the upcoming product launch. The 5s (if that's what it's called) will just get a bit of a spec bump...evolutionary, not revolutionary. IDK, Apple needs to do something impressive soon. |

If past releases are any indication, I wouldn't expect the new phones to be here until November or December.
I am pretty stoked about ios 7. Kind of like getting a new phone a year after updating to the iphone 5.
As for larger screens... I don't know... I am pretty happy having a phone sized phone. If I want a tablet I'll buy one.

This is a guess, but Apple probably is not making bigger screens due to app sizing. They are waiting for more small CPU power to run the bigger apps with higher resolutions on a new phone with a larger screen. If they run current phone apps on a larger screen, maybe they worry the apps will look crappy, as with the mini?
Well, they did lose my wife. She got the Galaxy s4. The battery life issue wasn't exactly fixed with the new 5s update, either, from what I have read. |

I jumped ship to Android a few months ago. The 5s or whatever is doing nothing to make me want to come back. Happy to have iTunes out of my life. |

Apple's seventh iPhone launches today and the lines still persist. Around the world, from China to New York to London, people have gathered outside Apple Stores for the launch of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. |

The iPhone 5s and 5c will launch today in the United States and eight other countries, including the U.K., France, Germany, China and Japan. But other countries have to wait until the end of the year to get Apple's latest phone.
Some people come to the United States to buy the iPhones and then bring them back to their home country just to get an early lead. "We can't buy the phone in Turkey yet and we don't want to miss getting it here," Hazal Erengul said. |

Happy to still be able to get a phone "APPLE" that serves the purpose of being a phone. I could care less about caring around a game device. |

Cue hordes of idiots lining up outside the nearest Apple store for their latest fashion accessory, the iPhone 29, with a slightly different appearance and a couple of needless extra features to chatter about excitedly |
