Is Star Sports showing the EPL this season? I tried to look up the listings online but I didn't see any listings for the EPL. |

SkyLife has Star Sports, but I usually watch the football on SBS ESPN. |

Yeah, doesn't look like they have it. Shame, because they played a lot of Liverpool games that SBS weren't interested in because there were no Koreans involved. |

That sucks. I specifically got Skylife because I wanted to watch the games with English commentary. |

Yeah, it sucks. Still, SBS ESPN is broadcast in high quality, and the volume button on the TV works for me |

I changed cable providers just to get the EPL in English. ESPN doesn't show some of the early games, and have a Korean player bias.
Last year I turned down the volume of ESPN and listened to English commentary on the Talksport website. It doesn't sync perfectly with the tv but it gives you some English commentary. It's worth checking out. |

I use the old 'mute-tv-call-mum-on-skype-request-phone-be-left-next-to-radio-with-five-live-blaring' trick.
Works a treat. |

get a vpn and go to nbcsportsextra.com they are going to have like 300 EPL games available this season live either with their commentary (apparently Arlo White is very good maybe up to Ian Darke's standard) or the world English feed.
Apparently NBC will have more games available to US audiences than people in the UK |

Okay. I downloaded a VPN called Hotspot Shield. I hope it doesn't *beep* up my computer.
I did a google search for nbc sports extra. Is this the right site - http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra/ ? Do I need to sign in or anything like that?
If this works on Saturday you're my new hero. |

bad news, I was playing around with it at it appears that even with a vpn you will only be able to watch the games that are on NBC over the air, to get the other games you need to prove you are a US cable/satellite customer using a login from them. If you know somebody in the states with cable get them to give you their log in info. its typical now for us networks to do this.
my bad |

Shit! I can't even see anywhere to log in even if I did have the info.
Why the *beep* aren't Star Sports showing the EPL anymore? |

When Liverpool wasn't on TV, I had no trouble finding a stream in English for the games. No specific sites; a Liverpool forum I read usually lists links for each game. One that recently worked for recent friendly games was Wiziwig. |

It's not really a bias; it's an obsession. Expect a lot of Swansea and Cardiff - at least QPR have pissed off. |

I noticed things chilled out a bit later on in the season on the whole Korean player bias. I think they finally realized that QPR vs. West Brom was not quite the ratings draw as Chelsea vs. Spurs or something like that, or even say, a ManU vs. Everton type match. Even the Korean fans found QPR unwatchable.
Swansea at least play a half-decent brand of football. |
