There's an international conference taking place in Korea next week. The reception is Wednesday night and it's great if you can attend this too, but the real sessions start Thursday morning.
The topic is climate change/ global warming; guest speakers are coming from the Amazon forest. An ability to speak some Spanish is a bonus but not a requirement. Otherwise, the day's activities read like a who's-who of those involved with the NGO/ NPO environmental scene in Korea.
Involvement requires delivering a speech of ten minutes maximum as an international representative. This can mean either writing and delivering your own speech, or collaborating to write a speech, or simply delivering one written by my friend/ contact for the event.
Please PM me for more details if you're 1.) able to go, and 2.) have proven and verifiably genuine interest in this field. |

Sounds like a good idea, but why would anyone want to sit through speeches presented by people who have to do it just to attend? Seems like you're inviting a bunch of blowhards forced to spill their guts about a ~nebulous~ topic.
If 12 people from this site signed on, then that's 2+ hours of talking from unqualified people. ugh. Please give us a summary of your 10 minute speech so we have something to pace ourselves with. |
