Great news! I hope the world economy can get better soon. |
And US unemployment is down to 7.4 %.
The Korean job board is definitely looking livelier than a year ago. |

| Is it over in Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Cyprus? I strongly doubt they are celebrating in the streets over there at the news that France and Germany's economies have grown. |

Growth these days has little to do with avg living standards. Perhaps Europe will have "growth" but only a very small number of people will benefit. Recession, growth, etc, these are not entirely meaningless but don't signal what the average Joe thinks they signal.
The take away from the story is that equity in-flows will diminish in the USA and appreciate in the EU. |

You're aware that's more or less what I was implying, right? Growth does not erase debt and inflation, certainly not when growth is occurring abroad (some reporters seem to forget that Greece and France are on opposite ends of the continent).

Very good news!! Europe still has a long ways to go and a lot of tough times ahead. But at least they have made the first attempts at restructuring the economy. You do not overcome two decades of incompetence and corruption in a couple of years.
but this is welcome and should help the rest of the worlds's economies. The crisis in Europe has been devastating to the Chinese for instance.
The U.s. economy also needs an economic revival in Europe. the U.s. has been the growth engine in the West for the last two years. |

Rollo,
U.s. = incorrect
U.S. = correct
I've never been a grammar Nazi, but for whatever reason it bugs me that you write it the way you do (not just in this thread). |
