I am being interviewed for a October 1st placement at Ilsan Wonderland. Given that Wonderland schools have quite a bad rep, I am looking for information to see if this position is worth pursuing...
Anyone have the scoop on this particular Wonderland? I would also appreciate any comments on their teaching methods, which seem rather unusual.
thanks! |

A whole bunch of posts, unrelated to Ilsan Wonderland, but about other individual Wonderland schools, starting in 3...2...1... |

Thanks, Superhero. I have already seen the PofW site...but I am looking for information about a particular school in Ilsan. It has been my impression that these franchised schools can really vary in quality.
thanks... |

This is helpful too: http://www.efl-law.com/KETA.html
Yeah, franchised schools can vary, but Wonderland seems to have a really bad rep overall. There's lots of hagwons out there...if I were you I'd go with a non-Wonderland school (and of course do your research on this non-Wonderland school too); your odds would probably be better for landing a decent position. |

Go for it Wonderland, just like the Liberals in Canada deserve your trust, your money and your confidence. |

Don't take the advice of "Wonderland is bad, all Wonderlands are evil! Stay away!"
You have the right idea, check out the particular school. I work at a Wonderland, and I love it. My old hagwon was pure crap compared to this place. The chain may not have a good name (well-deserved or not), but individual schools may be ok.
