Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me out.

My degree is under my maiden name, and my understanding is that I will need to provide immigration with my marriage license to verify the name change.

Does anyone know if the marriage license needs to be apostilled, or is notarization by a public notary okay?

Thanks so much! Smile

The marriage certificate does NOT need to be legalized providing it is government issued (you just send a copy but bring the original (of the one you copied) with you when you come to Korea).
