| This is what's wrong with the West (among much else) So they portray one woman as a housewife who is not computer savvy and PC white people have a feminist fit. Get over it. |

| In the UK there's been a backlash recently about how many adverts depict men as useless while the women have all the nous. This advert was actually quite refreshing from a Western male perspective. |

Replace the businessman and the woman in that advertisement with my father and his wife and you'd have the exact same advertisement. If anything my father's wife is probably a little less tech savvy than the woman, I cannot imagine her successfully using the Internet to help anyone with their homework. The "What?" when presented with the product sounds exactly like something that would come out of her mouth.
Bad acting, but pretty true to life, which is exactly why it needs to be derided as sexist. Westerners are capable of swallowing, internalizing, and parroting any lie, but the truth makes them gag. |

You're a moron. I'm laughing at the how bad the actors are. And, yes, there are stereotypes (the Asian gamer, the woman who thinks using a screw driver is going high-tech), but that's only icing on the cake. |

Get lost. What clearly stands out is how bad the actors are. That's why this video is getting all the attention that it has.

Some parts of it are fine, but the execution is awful...or is it? It certainly getting a lot more attention than it would otherwise have had...and I'm almost considering getting one of those drives....almost. I don't doubt some people have actually bought these drives after having had a good laugh. I mean, if complete morons can clone and change out a drive, how hard can it be? |
