Seems that many are trying to figure out the latest incarnation of the uber troll recently. So, who do you suppose it is? I'm sure he is relishing all of the attention of the pointing fingers at who might be.

I actually think he's you and you're playing some sick and twisted troll game where you're arguing with yourself for entertainment. |

Honestly, assuming that the individual in question still lives in the same location as they did previously before being banned or discontinued their involvement in Dave's, the Mods or other administrative party could simply do a trace on the IP location of the poster. They can do it for anyone posting on the forums. Now, if the person in question has moved and no is longer at the same location it would be difficult to determine where they are, EXCEPT the Mods or other administrative party CAN check the IP addresses for the current posters being pegged as the former Dodge7 to see if they are in fact different people or the same person. This would be easy enough to do. Just throwing that out there for anyone interested in knowing how to potentially solve the mystery. |

One can get around that with a VPN, no? Anyway, I'm thinking said Sir Trollalot moved locations (cities at least) since the ban. |

That's my guess as well, Dodge7, Nolos, and this IPayInCash, all have the same hatred/dislike for all things Korean and are very vocal on putting it down. They also really talk themselves up and brag in a really tacky way about how great their lives are. |

They can attempt to get around it with a VPN, but the general range of IP addresses assigned for a VPN would also be consistent and a telling sign of whether or not two people posting were the same person.
It is interesting fodder in any case. The mysteries at Dave's do surprise on occasion, and it does break the occasional monotony of some of the less enjoyable posts, IMHO. |

Well, whoever these people are, I have to say they are entertaining to read much of the time, and beyond some of the typical rants most of us tend to post on occasion, nothing they say for the most part, IMO, is too out there or over the top for a forum poster. Having a dislike or contempt for some portion of our life experience is "normal" for most people. I complain a lot, at least according to my wife, and I guess she should know. So it takes time on occasion to back away and get better perspective. So, if these people are re-introducing their self as a different entity, I guess that is their business, and I am certainly not going to be quick to judge their comments one way or the other anymore than I would any other poster trying to contribute to the forum. |

There's a guy at my school that has a habit of joining in on existing conversations and saying jack&ss things. Generally, his comments are trite, boring, and self-centered, with little to no deeper understanding/empathy of the situation of which he and his colleagues are discussing. Sometimes it's amusing, because of the ridiculousness, but most of the time it's plain sad. Some people never learn that there's a social construct of communication between human beings, or they spend so much time thinking they are the smartest and wisest people around that they actually believe it. I have a hard time not calling these people out on their bulls&%t, but the most common/effective response to those who never learned that they are not the only guppy in the tank is to ignore that person and continue with whatever pleasant/entertaining/informative conversation is at hand. It's more difficult in the real world, since those people are right in front of you, but on the internet it is really easy. Do not feed the trolls. They will starve, and it is much more entertaining to watch a troll starve than it is to argue with one. |

There was a weird and obnoxious thread that occurred a little while back where Nolos and IPayInCash and maybe some others just seemed to appear without being seen before. I think the thread may have disappeared perhaps taken out by a Moderator.

Who cares? I could give less of a crap about Dodge7's alter egos. Until he starts sexting that he's 'Carlos Danger' I really don't see what the big deal is. |
