I absolutely agree with this. The Republic of Korea should become a Christian theocratic country. I found this Korean blogger yesterday that campaigns for a Christian theocracy.

Guess I'm not alone. |

If South Korea ever becomes a Christian theocracy, its constitutional structures should be similar to the ones in the Islamic Republic of Iran. And of course prominent Presbyterian pastors should have civic authorities in South Korea. |

It already is a theocracy of sorts; just not very Christian. All together now, fans kill, common sense shall be expunged, people shall all run for the exit at the same time instead of standing in line, there shall be food poisoning of some sort at least once a week, scooters shall drive on the sidewalk; pedestrians be damned..... |

Nice to see that that the Korean link had the decency to depict their messiah as a white dude. We all know how important honesty and factual representations of the past are to Christians. So I guess what I'm saying is 'I'm aboard'. Where do I sign up? Will membership come with a free loud speaker so I can walk through Itaewon screaming at people eating dinner that they're going to hell. I've always wanted to try that. I always thought that 'Christian Quietism' was over-rated. Give me a loud speaker any day. I'm in, brother. (It's not too soon to be calling you brother, is it?) Will we be storming the Itaewon mosque? No place in my Korean theocracy for religious nutjobs. Can we deport the Catholics? They're not in your face enough about Jesus, and in my opinion if you're not in someone's face about your beliefs you're just not sincere. The Jehovies are definitely in your face, but they'll need to be re-educated. Talking snakes, yes. Jesus returning next Wednesday, no. After all, if the J-dude was returning soon there'd be no need to build our theocracy. J-man would do that himself next Thursday. We need time to chase down all the homosexuals, feminists, and people who embrace a fact-based understanding of existence. That'll take time.
So yeah dude, I'm in.
Foreigners are welcome, right? |

Nohh, when theocracy comes in power the foreigners will be hunted down. They will be accused of:
1. poisoning the wells
2. worshiping satan
3. kidnapping children and using their blood in rituals
4. practicing witchcraft
5. usury
and if you thought you'd be free to persecute gays and deny evolution...
UNLUCKY! |
