Is there an official government agency that you can speak with regarding your landlord? Ours is really starting to get nasty.

She lives above us, and the second we have music on she complains about the noise. She is charging us more than double for water because there are two people living here, but refuses to give us an extra key to the building. We have had an electrical problem for weeks, and we have told her about it, but she hasn't done anything about it.

YET, she has the yappiest dog, and when she is away it barks like mad. She stomps around at all hours of the night - it honestly sounds like she's rearranging her entire apartment at 2am three times a week. She leaves the lobby of our apartment building a mess, getting newspapers delivered to her apartment daily but doesn't pick them up until there are at least two or three piled up, most of the time strewn across the floor.

In Ontario you can go to the Landlord Tenant board to file a complaint. Is there anything like that here?
