I have tried to check up reviews on the internet but it lacks information, however scamadvisor.com says that it is 91% safe? lol whatever that means. What happened to the other 9% I don't know???

I am in the process of getting my documents notarised and apostilled in the UK from abroad but am wary of sending to my documents to anywhere that isn't official.

I would try the official British government website however they do not notarise and I need the documents notarised first...

I also tried the British Consulate here but they will only certify the photocopies of the documents, and this doesn't help when I need the original Criminal record check certified.

Can you not send the documents to someone at home and have them do it for you? A lot of those companies charge extortionate rates, more than three times the cost of doing it yourself.
