|
|
I'm a male, BA English, MA English, CELTA, and about 4 years teaching at hagwons in Korea. I'm currently in Korea and have been since 2011, and I haven't left the country since arriving, nor have I changed jobs. I'm at the same hagwon I started at when I came back in 2011.
Does my situation make getting into EPIK any easier? Will I still need an FBI background check since I've never left Korea?
Anyone been down this road before?
Thanks! |

| You honestly sound way overqualified for EPIK. Not that in you wouldn't be able to get the job, but that in you could find something so much better than EPIK. Maybe an international school, considering your education and background. |

In my opinion, It makes it harder. You're OVER qualified for EPIK. Plus, I think you'd feel out of place. I distinctly remember being advised to leave off a large chunk of my qualifications and experience to get hired into the public school. I did. It worked, but I felt kind of silly the whole time. |
