My wife has a US Passport and BA in English from Philippines.
Can she work as a teacher in South Korea? |

She won't be able to get an E2. The passport is fine, but the BA is not. It also needs to be from the 7 English speaking countries accepted (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, SA, Australia, New Zealand). |

No. The degree has to be from one of the 7 native countries.
Edit: too late. What little lisa said |

Sorry. Degree must be from an English speaking country to obtain an E2.
Having said that, I know several teachers who are working at area hogwans in my city who are from The Philippines.
I'm not exactly sure how it all transpired. Some are married to Koreans but some are single women. |
