|
|
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been answered but I searched and couldn't find the exact info I was looking for.
I am currently not in Korea [left 18 months ago after 3ish years] but am wondering if I come back I can get the D12 visa?
The only advice I've seen is for people who are currently in Korea...but a friend mentioned he got one when in a similar situation to me [if only he could remember how he got it...]
Otherwise, as I've worked in Korea before, I guess I can come on a tourist visa with my documents and go to Japan for the E2? The D12 sounds a better option though.
Thanks in advance for any advice [even any of the belittling kind ]
Cheers! |

Ditto, Never heard of the D-12. *Cough* *Cough* Do you mean the D-10? It is also known as the Looking for Work Visa.
And yes the D-10 can be applied for from other country. Only that getting it is going to be a bit harder. There are different restrictions then versus getting one here in Korea.

Yes, d10 sorry!
Thanks for the info.
So it's just application as normal but without a job contract it seems, straightforward enough! Bit confused by the "flight itinerary...but don't book a flight!" item, but sure this is easily got around.
Cheers. |

Go to Expedia or britishairways or american airways or whatever place you plan to book a flight. Select a flight and the date and basically print off the page before you are asked to click to pay for the actual flight; worked for me. |
