My office is a nice 28C at the moment. My classroom is only 22C though; I'm doing my bit for the environment! Cool

The children have learnt to close the door behind them surprisingly quickly this year and all of my windows are closed.

Has anyone's school still not turned the heating on?

I am waiting for the P to get the first month’s bill and mandate that the setting cannot be above 18 or something like that...

My school has still not turned the heat on, however, my office with 3 other English teachers is basically separated from the rest of the school and we have our own heater. We blast it like crazy. I'm sure the principal would say something if he came in, but he never does.

We also have a big heater in the English Zone so we also blast that.

The English room will be 10 or 11 degrees when I arrive in the morning. I'll turn on the heating when it's like that until it hits 20, then turn it off again. It doesn't take long for it to drop back down to the low teens Sad

I need to be careful with the heating. I'll use it when I want, but if the principal comes in and makes a fuss I'll have to stop using it. Vice principal too. Anybody else can go to hell, I'll take orders like that only from the VP or P

Wear your coat and suck it up princess. It's not so bad. As long as it ain't summer cause those effin suck here big time.

BTW, 28 degrees is way too hot and I'd suffocate in that. I'm not Korean after all. I think 22 degrees is the perfect temperature.

You speak my language Cabeza. My schools usually turn it on a bit in the morning. Teachers' office has some slightly opened windows. But afternoon classes usually never has it on. (I go to the students classrooms.) I wear my coat and it's all good. It's comfortable.

After last summer, I'll never complain about cold again.

My classroom is either boiling hot or freezing cold, there is no in between. The heater is set on 30 and cannot be lowered, apparently, which is why tis so.

I thought by law it couldn't be higher than 26. At least that's what it was last year.
