|
|
My sister has been asking me if I know anyone who has had plastic surgery in Korea. She would like to fly here and get rhinoplastry, botox and juvederm injections. I keep telling her that I'm teaching in Jeonju and not in Seoul. The plastic surgery scene here is non-existent.
I thought I'd ask Dave's ESL. Has anyone here gotten plastic surgery, or do you know anyone that has had it donet? How was their experience? Can you recommend a good plastic surgeon? My main concern is that the doctors mostly work on Asian faces, so they might limited experience with Westerners.
Thanks. |

Learn the world for plastic surgery clinic (성형 외과), and you will find they are all over the place there. (Whether or not they are good quality there is another matter; I'm not sure.) |

Most all of the famous ones that the celebrities use are in Gangnam. I would assume Apgujeong has the best ones. |

I know a Chinese girl that just had a ton of surgery done. Her mom told her to do it. Looked painful. |

I was actually considering a procedure... but worry about the irregularities from clinic to clinic. I don't really know which ones are reputable/stable. |

I'd be worried about getting rhinoplasty in Korea as the Western nose is different from Korean. As for everything else...sure go for it. |

Western facial features are very different from Asian features. I think that you could probably find a doctor who has experience working with Westerners.
I was actually thinking about getting Juverderm for my smile lines. It's not too expensive from what I have read. |

You can choose the korean plastic surgeon itself.Because there are so many surgeons are well approved from good university and they taking care of the patients from whole world wide.
So no problem for them to treat the patients whether are westerners or koreans. Pitangui Plastics and Medical center surgeons are well approved and also they qualified from the same university.
Yoo Je-Seong is the chief plastic surgeon there. He has more that 20 yrs experience i think so.
So better you choose korea plastic surgeons in Pitangui Plastic Center itself. |

Haven't had anything done and don't know anyone who has.
As an aside, if my hair falls out to the point of my being bald I would consider a hair transplant.

Just man up and do a buzz cut. There's something a little sad about older men desperately trying to maintain a fake head of hair. |
