Hi,
I did a runner at a uni about 4 years ago. Reasons were due to family problems, not because the job was bad. I never gave in my ARC, but my visa ran out about 3 years ago. Would it be safe to re-apply to Korean Universities? I wonder if they have the passport number flagged or something like that? Would it be better to get a new pasport then the passport number is new? |

Do not come back, it is a trap! They have been waiting for you!
In honestly, you did not commit a crime, plus it has been some time. Like YTMD said, why not just try. Unless you left debts behind or did something horrible before leaving, immigration will likely not care. As to the passport change, immigration has computers and they likely will know if you have ever been to Korea before. Plus why lie to immigration you could end up getting refused a visa for just lying.
Your problem is more with Universities and future employers. Getting a a Uni job requires experience at times. So you might just have keep quiet on past jobs to them. |
