Hi,

So i got a call this morning, a school called Reading Town (Ochang) wants to have an interview with us the same day, i said i needed it pushed back so not it's tomorrow and i'm trying to find out as much about the school as possible. If anyone has any info on what they are like to work for please let me know asap! Also the details surrounding the position are a first for me so if you could advise on wether this is strange or not, that would be brilliant...

So they are offering a couple position, but we would need to be flown out there without a visa asap to start initiation, then they will send us to Japan for two days to get the visa then back again to start work. Is this a regular occurrence?

any help would be appreciated!

Ask them if you will be required to work Saturday's. I know someone in a Seoul branch of reading town that has to work 4 hours every Saturday.

If you fail 'initiation' (ie they don’t like the look of you/accent/pale white skin/horrible manc accent) you will fail and be sent home (the cost born by you!)

Ask if you can speak to the previous teacher.

They are bringing you over without a visa?

Don't bother.
