Hello,
I am getting offered a position to Dongtan HS. Couple things are on my mind.
Anyone know anything about this school or worked there? Anything good or bad I should be aware of?
I'm actually kind of intimidated. This is my first job as an English teacher and high school students in America are scary...flat out scary. Are Korean high school students the same?
Also, this school seems somewhat prestigious(?) or at least a bit on the higher end compared to a public school. The lady I had an interview with also claimed the students are well versed in English (why do they need me then? Haha). Being that it is my first job, it kind of seems out of my league. This intimidates me as well....
Is anyone familiar with the area? Is it nice/bad, quiet/loud, etc?
Any information would be appreciated =].
