That's a good rate. 12 percent APR. makes me wish I were a Brit. Ha ha. Us Canadians get a standard 19.9 APR for purchases and 21.9 APR for cash advances. Though I think some annual member fee cards have lower rates. Americans APR's for cards are based on credit ratings or at least they were years ago.
