Anyone every seen throat spray in Korea? In America the original brand was Chloraseptic, but now every pharmacy has their own brand. It pretty much kills any throat pain. I usually bring a bottle from America, but forgot on my last trip home. Love to find a bottle here in Korea if anyone has any idea where it might be.

Check the Namdaemun underground markets. Get off at Hoehyeon exit on the blue line. Walk through the main part, look for the orange BYC building and the puprle one next to it. Go down to the basements of those two buildings and have a look around. Bring 100,000 won or so with you as you may want to buy many other things from back home. I had stocked up on Tylenol. I even saw Nyquil, Reeces Peanut Butter Cups, etc. They are usually open from 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday and lots of Korean things are sold down there too.
If they don't have it, go to the ears, throat, and nose doctor. With a prescription, you can get some stronger medicine. Over the counter stuff here is weak and sucks. I gave this one K chick an advil when she had a headache. Her reaction of surprise and extreme greatfulness later would have led you to think I discovered the cure for Cancer or AIDs.
Anyhew, those are your options. |
