I have just been fired from my job, as expected, and they are giving me a hard time, as expected. I have checked out EFL-Law and found a number of issues that must be worked out, and I plan to go to the Labor Board. However, I cannot seem to find any mention anywhere of where it is located. Does anyone know if there is a website that lists the locations, or can tell me where the nearest office to Bundang is? I have checked the FAQ's, and it seems like everyone knows where it is but me Sad

When I did the rounds (a while ago) I eventually found out there was one at Chilgok, a bit out of town. It unfortunately depends on the school, as far as I know but this place seemed a pretty big office. I needed a Korean to interpret for me. It's near a big bridge.

Go up the road from the big McDonalds at Chilgok on the main street. Facing the street in front of the Mcdonalds. turn left. You should go past LIKE school on the other side of the road. I also suggest staying on the McDonald's side of the road. eventually you will see a big supermarket on your right at the intersection. Turn left at the intersection. Eventually you will see the bridge and close to it, the office.

Good luck, Sorry for the bad directions.

Going from Bundang (Seoul area) to Chilgok (Daegu area) to find a Labor Board office might be a long trip. Better pack a lunch or find something closer in the Seoul area. Wink

Like this one in Gwacheon:

There is one near Lotte, I think at Sinchon (or Sincheon) station. NOT the one near Hongdae. The one near Jamshil. It's a block or two past the McDonald's.

I think you have to go to one near your school. They are grouped by neighborhood. Don't you have a Korean friend who can call and find out which one is your "local" Labor Board?
