I am considering taking a teaching job at a school in Seoul called Wiz Island... but can't find any information from people who have taught there. Has anyone ever heard of it? Do they treat their foreign teachers okay?

That would be convenient when drinking soju. Not far to go to take a wiz Laughing .

Sorry couldn't help. Been having a bad day and any kind of humor is a good thing for my frame of mind right now, childish as it is.

I thought that f'in link was giving my computer a virus. It wouldn't stop singing and doing stupid shit.

If that's any indication of how they run their operation, be prepared to be wizzed all over.

There are different locations so it depends which one you are at. It's a kindergarten. I was considering working at one because it had way better hours than any other kindy job I could find. They had a "special day" every week where you'd either work a half day or not at all. I think they all have that. Seemed to be an okay place but I got a better offer.

You need a ROOMMATE and so does he. Rolling Eyes

THINK about THAT and then post again about how GREAT "Wiz island" is for foreign teachers. Wink

I'm living with a roommate now. It costs less than my housing allowance so it's like I get extra money! Very Happy

It's not like you're going to make a ton of money at any job in Korea, so save where you can.

16:30 Sunday afternoon and a soju-soaked ajosshi stops in the middle of the street below my balcony, unzips and tries to get his 'gochu' out... but can't keep balance long enough. When finished, he staggered off - the inseams of both legs of his pants soaked from crotch to cuff. Not one drop hit the pavement! Laughing

You're welcome.

If you're going to work for a school with a name like that, you must be prepared for quite a few inane comments. Wink
