I am transferring from public school to private. what documentation will I need to do so? Is it just a letter of release?
I have worked for the hagwon previously for 2 years.
I took a year break and went home.
and then did two years at a public school.
Now I am going back to the hagwon.
Will immigration have any of my documents still? Like my diploma?

Your previous hagwon documents won't be necessary. What is important is that you stay in the country and process the letter of release with new documents for the hagwon.

My understanding is that you don't need to resubmit notarized diploma copies if you already did this with the public school. The hagwon should ask immigration for what is needed.
