Hi Everyone,
I am facing a problem and I really need your help. I have already received Visa issuance number from my Korean employer. The problem is that my Passport is going to expire in June 2013. Initially, I was going to join the company in November but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am going to give my joining in December which means I will have less than 6 months validity at the time of travelling. I am going to get my passport renewed which means my old passport will become invalid after that. My visa issuance number is against my old passport so will this create any problem? If I take both my Old and new passport to embassy along with the Visa issuance number that I have already received, will they stamp the visa on my new or old passport?
An urgent response will be really appreciated.
Thanks |

This is November of 2013.
If your passport expired in June of 2013 then ???
IF your passport expires in June of 2014 and you are traveling in Dec of 2013 then t shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure you travel before the 6 month mark (6 months and 2 days is fine).
Get your new passport when you arrive in Korea.
Alternatively, take old and new passports to the embassy and get your visa placed into your new passport. They won't have just your old passport number but your full details on demand via your visa confirmation number.
It really is a non-issue.
