I will be in Canada next week and I really want to buy a ps4. Assuming they are not all sold out, how would you recommend flying with such an item. This will not be an easy flight (2 stops and total travel time of 31 hours). The device will be brand new in original packaging. So, will the airline allow this (Air Canada) and once in Korea will I have to pay customs import taxes or anything?

Any advice appreciated

Edit: also interested in oppinions/tips on shipping it over if anyone thinks that would be safer or easier

Some years ago i bought a PS3 in japan and i had a 30h flight from seoul to brazil with 1 connection, i took it as my hand luggage! The company (Emirates) didn't care about it...

I heard it will be available 12.17 for 498KW here, so maybe you might jusr consider wait and get it here!

When I brought my PS3 from America, I simply brought it in a carry-on bag. I had no problems. Obviously I took it out of its original packaging though.

fun fact, the us ps4 box will perfectly fit in a carry on luggage case.

I lug my ps3 with me on my carry-on. I use a backpack. Works slick. Wrap it in foam first.
