Why wouldn't they want a left handed person for the job? It has something to do with the logistics of working with kids (where your dominant hand is positioned)? I can't figure that one out.

...as a strict vagitarian, I guess I would be out, too....

Maybe they meant political left?

There is/was a superstition about being left-handed, in Korea. I don't recall what it is/was at the moment.

This is true. I had a mother apologize to me once during parent/teacher conferences because her daughter was left-handed. She didn't want me to treat her daughter different because of it.

They must have had a left-handed vegetarian work at their school before and that person must have complained about the food too much.

Never mind the bizarre special requirements, what an awful job.

Maybe the "faithful" part is important? Found this on another (strange) site...

I was rather ashamedly left handed as a baby, but my parents forced me to do everything with my right hand, as they told me my right hand was God's preferred hand. I am thankful they beat this sin out of me.
Pleasingly, I now use my right hand for everything. May my God be pleased with me for my efforts.

My uncle was left handed as a child in the UK and the nuns beat him every time he used his left hand to write, now he writes with his right hand. There was a stigma against writing left handed in many cultures though I thought that was history.

I don't know about Korea but in a lot of cultures the left hand was the hand used to wipe your bottom and such and thus was considered "unclean." Regarding the Bible and such I think there are passages which paint the "left hand" in a negative light so that's why the nuns would get a bit slappy with left handed students.

I myself am left handed and have always found it to be an interesting topic.

Punching xtians with your left hand is good because it shows them they are right. Then, everyone is happy.

I'm left handed and I do love vag's so I'm out. Basically they want a woman because most men are vagitarian.

Only women who are right handed and are non-smorkers though. Personally I've had only positive experiences with smorkers in the past so this request kind of threw me for a loop.
