| Someone at my school recently let it slip that they made a big mistake by keeping me on longer than 2 years. They told the other teachers that they have to let them go after this contract since they will have completed 2 years by then. I accidentally got grandfathered in due to negligence on their part (I passed the 2 year mark a couple months ago and still have 4 months left on this contract). I didn't know that this was even a thing for foreigners. Can someone shed some light on whats going on and what it might mean for my situation? |
