Is the law below related to the BA plus 4 years or MA plus 2 years requirement?

A. Applicants will be employed under contract system according to Article 3, Section 53-2 of the private school law.

No. That article speaks generally about faculty at universities, and stipulates among other things that the university must let their teachers know at least 4 months before the end of their contract if they will be re-hired or not.

I've tried searching for the new law about the 2yr/4yr requirement, but I can't find the text anywhere.

Well, I think my uni screwed some people last semester then! They let people know a lot less than 4 months before their contracts expired that they were not being renewed. It was probably closer to 2.5 months. Nobody pointed that out to the uni though..

Faculty hired in according with Article 3: If the employee's contract expires that year, the employee must be notified (in writing) four months in advance that their contract is up and that they may re-apply for their position.

Article 3 states that private universities must obey the same laws as public universities when it comes to contract time periods (as in, how long the person is employed at said school).
