I have a question regarding what happens if a school states they will do one thing in the contract but do not follow through...
If a school states that they will sign the employee up for NHIC and pay 50% in the contract but do not follow through on this what is the recourse of the employee. Is there a means to make the contract void not requiring a letter of release to seek other employment in the country? Is there anything the employee can do in this situation besides just bearing it. |

You can go to the NHIC and begin the fight over enrollment in medical (will probably get you fired) or you can just accept that your employer isn't going to live up to that part of the contract and look for something better next year.
Alternatively you can sue in civil court but there is no punitive damages. The win will cost you more in lost time and wages than actually enrolling in NHIC yourself and paying the premiums.
