I can only be general about this. Make sure the kids like you, because that is the number one factor regarding rather you stay or go. Be lenient in grading and in your teaching and make sure you hand out cookies to them. I used to use my own money (of course I like little kids and I like doing this kind of stuff).

I saw this post when I was looking for any information about Kim n Lee, and I just spent a year teaching there, so here's some information for anyone looking.

Kim n Lee is a decent and legit hagwon. Myself and the other teachers always got paid on time, and everything in the contract was honored. The director speaks English well, so communications were generally clear.

The apartments are decent as well, and are a very good size (no shoebox worries!). Mine actually had a separate kitchen (don't imagine it like a full-sized kitchen, though) and a balcony/laundry hallway.

Also, it's actually in Maetan, which is about a 10-15 minute taxi or bus ride from Yeongtong. The area is a nice place to live. (also super easy to get to Seoul, if that's important to you; about a 45 minute ~ 1 hour bus ride, also with access to the subway).

I hear Kim and Park are better, though.
