I know when you change your address in Korea you are supposed to go to immigration and fill out the form within 15 or so days. My questions are 1) Do they take your ARC back and issue a new one with your new address on it? and 2) does it cost money when you submit a new address? I am still waiting for my ARC to be ready so I don't know for sure if they even put your address on the back of the ARC card.

Really? Last time I was in Korea my school moved me to a new apartment a couple months after I had been in country.....they never told me anything about getting a new ARC or anything like that. Nothing ended up happening about it.

You can report it at the immigration office or your local Gu office after you have your ARC.

They do not issue a new ARC. They just make a note on your existing one and update your file (unless your change of address also puts you into a new jurisdiction).

There is no cost.
