Here is a question for the more experienced/law savy veterans. In my contract there is no "honeymoon week off" vacation time stipulated. I'm just wondering if this has to be there or is it more of an unwritten rule? Any insight would be helpful. THanks |

I don't believe it's a legal requirement.
The clause is included in PS contracts, but I've never seen it any other contracts (for English teachers or otherwise).
If the clause isn't included, most jobs will be willing to let you take a week of vacation during that time (deducted from your XX days per year) if you give them some notice. |

Although not exactly the same situation, at my old hagwon, two of the Korean teachers took significant time off for their honeymoons.
Definitely, if you can find someone to sub for you, they are more likely to give you the time off. |
