I have been offered an english teaching job in South Korea via a company here in North America. I will be receiving the contract and paperwork soon so I can go to the Korean Embassy nearby to apply for an E-2 visa. In the meantime, I have learned that I can just apply for an F-4 visa due to my Korean heritage and family registry paperwork(hojuk dungbo) that my father has. Will the company that is helping me get this job care if they send me the E-2 visa paperwork but I get the F-4 visa instead? I have already read on this forum that the school will not care if I have the F-4 or E-2 visa. Thank you. |

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that the best way to find out would be to simply just ask them. |
