If you need a visa (or something related to it), get it now before the fees go up (starting in 2014).

Already gone up, had my F6 renewed last week and they charged me 40,000

Maybe the immigration officer made a mistake (which happens here quite often >_<). The official Korean government literature and website says the change is to take effect January 1st, 2014.

The jan 1st date refers to the start of Kristallnacht.

I doubt it, it was the same price quoted to me after I called 1345 a week earlier.
