I've been in Korea 3+ years. And I'm interested in getting my masters in something English/TESOL related. Right now, I'm thinking of doing my masters in Korea. I know the setbacks of doing a masters here - lack of international recognition/accreditation. However, this would be much cheaper than back in the states and would improve my korean.

I'm a "professor" at a university now. One of the reasons I'd be doing my masters would be to give some job security at the university level here (I plan on being here for a while).

My question is - how is a Korean masters in TESOL/English viewed or accepted IN KOREA? Do any of you have experience getting a masters here and using that to find work IN KOREA?
