Evidently the Department of Authentications in DC has moved since I was last there a few years ago and it appears the process has changed a bit. Last time I went down I was able to walk in and get my CBC apostilled within 30 minutes or so. From the looks of the website they moved in October of this year to 600 19th Street and I believe their appointment hours are from 10-1 and 2-2:30.
I'll be calling them in the morning to attempt to set up an appointment but from what I remember in the past it's very hard to get someone on the line. So I'm hoping to get some feedback on their experience/the process from anyone who has been there in the past month or two.

How long did it take to get your criminal background check back from West Virginia?
I'm trying to get an average time from those who have recently gotten their background check done.
Back in 2010 it was taking up to 12 weeks. |

If I remember correctly it was 9-10 weeks. Though the gov't shutdown was in order then. |
