Is there a fee for being late on telling immigration that you moved? I moved at the beginning of the month but have not had time to go to immigration and let them know. |

maybe - but they will put a note of it in your file! + you will get a warning.
You have up to 2 weeks (14 days?) to notify them of a change of address. |

Just make sure you changed it at City Hall first before telling immigration. They probably won't charge you a penalty if you do that. |

Yes DEFINATELY DO NOT tell them you're over the 14 days !!! It will put a black mark in your file. Just change it at the Gu office or city hall. They don't ask you when you moved or for proof. (I moved and didn't update for over a year) |

Always pay for any VISA changes/updates, using coins.
They love counting piles of coins!
They love to be 'busy'
You wanna charge me 20,000 or 30,000, 'sure here you go' (in 50s and 100s)
'grumble grumble'
'I took out the 10s, you should be thankful'
If you really wanna be a !@## leave the amount 100 won short, then demand a re-count! |

Incorrect. If you inform city hall (or your gu-office), you dont need to tell immigration, & vice versa. |

Sorry I am not familiar with the city hall branch. I have always been going to Omokgyo Immigration office to do Visa stuff. Can you give me a link to the address? |

For us to give you the nearest Gu office we need to know which city you're living in. |

A friend of mine went to renew their E-2, but the person didn't update their address first. Immigration said they needed to update that first at the city hall before they would renew their visa. |
