There was a blog that I found through this site but I forgot it's name. He was a yank, married to a Korean and had kids. He often wrote about reading the paper while taking a dump. His marriage sounded rough. Oh, and he always talked about how great a certain brand of soju was - jinro, I think. Anyone recall the blogs name?

An Idiot's Tale was the blog name. Mr Wonderful being the writer.

I believe he's still writing over on idiotsofkorea.proboards.com. Interesting fellow.

Archie also seems to have cropped up again, as does Patrick's name.

Yes, that blog was run by a guy who called himself asmith. Actually, he had a number of names: Big Bill, Otis and a few others. For those who don't know, he hated this site, Dave's ESL, for some reason and he kept attacking this site with images that were filthy and disgusting. These attacks went on for some time, and as far as I understand, that is why Dave's esl no longer allows images. I read somewhere else that a poster called handjivewilly was actually asmith, but that can't be true because handjivewilly wrote a post a while ago, praising Dave's ESL Cafe. So, what ever happened to asmith remains a mystery, but my guess is he might still be around Korea. I used to read his blog and he sounded like a lifer.
