My New Year's resolution is to eat waffles. Where's the best shop in Seoul (not online) to buy a decent yet affordable waffle iron? |

Good question. I was kind of looking for one but never went beyond the home appliance department in department stores.
I had no luck finding one, except one really pricey super-duper model from Italy or France which I passed on. |

After watching a food network show where they made fried chicken breast waffle sandwiches with syrup and hot sauce, I think I want to get one as well.
Seems like something that Costco would have. I'll check it out next time I go there |

I looked at Costco as well and didn't find one there. But their stock changes, so you may get lucky. |

I bought one at Homeplus near Jamsil station, but it's an old school one that doesn't use electricity. I'll be holding it over the gas stove, turning it manually. It'll be sort of like camping. |

That made my day, thank you. Also, maybe the most sensible New Years resolution I've read yet.
Also, thanks NYC Gal. |

I'm sorry that it was online. I know that you requested a shop, but I haven't seen any that weren't ridiculously expensive.
I liked his resolution so much, that I ordered one as well. |

That's actually a good-looking waffle iron...time to go get the ingredients and some juice.
Happy New Year, everyone! |

There are a lot of sandwich makers that have interchangeable inserts. Some of them include waffle forms. |
