The bathroom sink at my place drains really slowly ever since I moved in. Now that the weather is colder, I feel like it's getting slower, but I might just be running out of patience with it. Using hot water and vinegar to clear it out helps it drain slightly better for a very short time. I clean out what I can reach regularly and it does pretty much nothing. Is there some kind of Korean equivalent to drano somewhere? Anyone know what it's called?

You can pop the metal top of the drain part off and unscrew the filter(?) to clean it. If you haven't done it ever, it's gonna be gross.

A quick thing to check is the drain cap rod. My sink was draining slowly and I found the mechanism under the sink leading from the handle to the cap was bent. Must've happened when one of us put something heavy in the cabinet below the sink.

there are a few drano type chemicals. i use one in a yellow bottle (forgot the name) because my drain tends to get clogged quite often.
