So I finally got my CRC back and rather than "no criminal record found" it says "a search of the fingerprints provided by this individual has revealed no prior arrest data at the FBI. This does not preclude further criminal history at the state or local level"

SO. does this mean I can kiss my job in Korea good bye as I will obviously not be able to get a visa?! or is this normal? Help!

Korea used to be a better deal. It's on the decline (and has been for quite some time), so don't feel bad. (*Blessing in disguise*)

I would have recommended it 5-10 years ago. I probably wouldn't now.

That was <a> direct from the FBI or <b> through an expediter or other service?

IF <a> then no worry because everyone else will have the same.
If <b> then get one directly or consider China.

What'd you get arrested for in the past?

No, No.No 'no prior arrest'. You passed the test, as far as the FBI CRC check is concerned you're good to go.

This means you are free to commit a crime now as long as you don't need another CRC Laughing

Hmmm Confused Just apply, it won't cost you any more than the FEDEX.

On the other hand don't apply, less competition. Laughing Laughing

Yes, that was from NBCI channeler. I know Immigration doesn't accept them but, when I called the FBI they said it would be a few more weeks so, I figured better safe then never. Go figure the next day my FBI CRC showed up at my door. It states the same thing minus the sentence about precluding state and local offenses.
