| The only thing wrong is that it's not only blacks that eat fried chicken, even though they do like it a lot. It's eaten heavily in the south in general. Also blacks have introduced a whole variety of different items into American cuisine, just look at the cuisine in Louisiana. Of course stereotyping blacks as fried chicken eaters totally ignores this contribution. |

What recipe would you suggest, and what makes you think that the professional offense mongers whose paychecks rely on convincing people to be offended over petty things would be more content with those recipes being chosen? Bear in mind that it has to be something children will actually want to eat. |

Conservatives- Stereotypical and offensive meal of fried chicken, cornbread, and watermelon.
Liberals- Fix the menu by offering a meal of vegan rice pilaf, soy milk, and tofu.
Losers- The kids who either get served stereotypes or crap and an agenda on a tray. |

I don't think a kid who receives a delicious meal of fried chicken, watermelon, and cornbread could be considered a loser. In fact, most children would consider receiving such a meal a decisive victory. But I suppose serious grown ups looking to prove that they aren't racists (or looking to prove that "We still have so far to go," etc.) need to put a stop to this.
Someone has to do something about it, and it looks like I'm the only one with the guts. I'm declaring fried chicken, watermelon, and cornbread to no longer related to racism in any way, shape, or form. It's done. I've solved the controversy. Enjoy your fried chicken, your cornbread, and even your watermelon oh children of the world. And yes, this precedent also applies to that "black older brother chicken" in the other thread. If you've got a black older brother, suggest he try it, he'll probably like it, because Korean chicken is usually good. |
