|
|
The FBI record check debit appeared in my account yesterday, which I've read means the document is probably on its way to me now (*will still need apostille*). Based on your own recent experience, what would be an appropriate/courteous estimated availability date for schools & recruiters? I live about 700 miles from Washington, D.C. near a Korean consulate.
Formula: time to receive and apostille CRC + time to obtain visa + margin. |

My extremely recent timeline:
If you use a channeler for your apostille (I used www.usauthentication.com ) exactly one week overnighted there and back.
sent via UPS to korea left on a Friday (EST) arrived Sunday.
My director went to immigration the same day and it took exactly 5 days for my visa issuance number.
Sent visa application to Atlanta Consulate took exactly one week overnight both there and back.
Right around 3-4 weeks. |
