Nonghyup changed their online banking system - beware when transferring money home. Under the old system, you could just click country and find your bank with the swift code. You clicked that and the rest auto populated. Now, it doesn't. (Common sense at it's finest.) Also, the phone number at the bottom is worng. The correct number blabs on in Korean and when you press "0" to speak to an operator, it hangs up on you. Korea sparkling!

Anyways, the new version of the site will ask for a 4 digit bank code, then a 2 digit country code, then a 2 digit city code, and then a 3 digit bank code. It isn't any of the extra numbers your bank uses.

Here's what I figured out after much frustration,

Canada RBC Bank uses the swift code (BIC) ROYCCAT2.

So, enter like this. ROYC CA T2 XXX

Do this and then your bank's info comes up. Then, you put in your personal bank account number and the transfer should go through.

Find your own bank swift code here,

I don't use Nonghyup, but thanks anyway for providing information that I'm sure many will find valuable.
