| My friend left Korea and gave me the Sim card to his Samsung Phone on Olleh. I put the sim in my iPhone 4 from Canada and it says Sim Failure and Invalid Sim in the top left corner. I know my phone is not unlocked but before I call Bell back in Canada to unlock it I want to know if the error message "Sim Failure" is the correct error message for a phone that is not unlocked. If it doesn't work for some other reason like CDMA vs GSM (or some other reason I don't know) then there is no point in having the phone unlocked. |
